Open Call of the Female Art Rising Festival 

FAR

The inaugural edition of the Female Art Rising festival, taking place from September 17 to 21, has dedicated a part of its program to introducing the works of young female artists and art collectives (both female and male). Young talents from across Bosnia and Herzegovina, aged 18 to 30, who submitted their works in response to the festival's open call (April 19 to May 21), will be part of the official festival program, showcasing works in literature, painting, product and graphic design, animation, photography, sculpture, and film art.

Applications for volunteering at the Female Art Rising festival are open

Do you love art? Organization? Do you want to work in a dynamic and creative environment and gain new knowledge? Do you want to contribute to the community?

If your answer to any of these questions is YES, apply online to volunteer at the Female Art Rising Festival, which will be held from September 17 to 21, 2024, in Sarajevo.

The festival offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a creative and dynamic atmosphere, work with professionals from the cultural sector, gain additional skills and knowledge in organizing cultural events, acquire knowledge in all spheres of art, and contribute to the community.

This call is open for young people aged 16+ (parental/guardian consent is required for minors).

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the organization of festival events, their preparation and execution

  • Assistance in welcoming festival guests and participants

  • Greeting and informing the audience

  • Providing logistical support to the festival team

What we expect from FAR volunteers:

  • Responsibility and reliability,

  • Flexibility and readiness for teamwork,

  • Communicativeness and friendliness,

  • Attendance at educational sessions,

  • Respecting the rules and regulations of the Female Art Rising Festival
